Due to the particularity of these buildings and enterprises, the risks of the leak-
age, burning, explosion of chemical dangerous and radioactive substance keep
rising. and the probability of accidents keeps increasing accordingly. In view of
the fire situation in the high floor and underground environment, quadruped
robot can replace or assist the firefighters to do investigation in the fire field,
carry fire rescue equipment for them ,effectively reducing their work pressure.
Intelligent Fire Rescue
without proper equipment, it is difficult for firefigthers to complete tasks under
numerous challenges, including high temperatures, darkness, toxic smoke, and
poor visibility. The firefighting quadruped robot can enter the fire field for people
to carry out investigation and data collection of images and 3D models. It also
can complete the search of ignition point and the detection of toxic and harmful
gases, so as to ensure a success in fire rescue.
Earthquake and Geological Disaster Rescue
As one type of special robots, quadruped firefighting robot has been a key player
in firefighting and rescue operations. Its use has become increasingly common in
large-scale petrochemical enterprises, tunnels, and subways where there are
potential hazards such as oil and gas leaks, toxic gas emissions, and structural
collapses. Disasters like these are characterized by their suddenness, complex
disposal processes, significant harm, and difficulty in prevention and treatment.
As a result, they have become persistent problems. A firefighting quadruped
robot can replace fire rescue personnel in these hazardous environments,
addressing the problem of insufficient collection of data and protecting the
personal safety of firefighters . Commanders on-site can make timely and
informed decisions based on feedback results, ensuring correct and reasonable
